A Place for Everyone

CITYkids (Birth - 5th Grade)

At CITYkids, we are excited to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can grow in their faith, develop meaningful relationships, and have fun. While at CITYkids, you can expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere, age-appropriate classes, engaging and interactive Bible lessons, worship and praise through music, and tons of fun all in a safe and secure environment.

CTY YTH (6th - 12th Grade)

CTY YTH exists to create a welcoming, safe, and supportive community where students can deepen their relationship with God, and develop as leaders. We seek to empower youth to serve their communities, make disciples of Christ and a positive impact in the world. We do this through engaging worship, relevant, Biblical messages, interactive discussions and more. Here, you can be yourself, ask questions, and be part of a supportive community that will help grow your faith.

C4: College & Career (YA)

CTY YTH exists to create a welcoming, safe, and supportive community where students can deepen their relationship with God, and develop as leaders. We seek to empower youth to serve their communities, make disciples of Christ and a positive impact in the world. We do this through engaging worship, relevant, Biblical messages, interactive discussions and more. Here, you can be yourself, ask questions, and be part of a supportive community that will help grow your faith.

C4 meets every Monday night @ 7:00pm

City Groups

We believe community is essential for spiritual growth. City Groups are designed to be environments where community can develop and flourish. We have groups that meet at the church, in coffee shops, public places, and in homes. We have groups for men, women, couples, singles, young & old alike. Whatever your season of life or wherever you are in your faith journey, there is a City group for you.

This is not a command to FEEL something but rather to DO SOMETHING. “Loving others as we have been loved,” is a command that stretches the limits of natural selves and makes us dependent on the Holy Spirit and the transformation that He brings to our lives. This kind of love is generous, sacrificial, and sometimes just hard. But, it is a love that leads to life.

SERVE THE CITY

Work for the well-being of the city where I have sent you to and pray to the Lord for this. For if it is well with the city you live in, it will be well with you.

Jeremiah 29:7

The Apostle James asked the question, “What good is FAITH without WORKS?” We believe SAVING faith becomes SERVING faith. Jesus said “the Son of Man did not come to be served, but TO SERVE and GIVE himself as a ransom for many.” We believe that following Jesus looks like SERVING others.

Between our inherent selfish bent and the continual enticement of the world to live in a way that prioritizes our happiness, it is easy for our hearts to drift. James calls us to re-center our faith through the practice of repentance.

James is teaching us that faith is not passive belief, but actively working out the grace of God in our lives.

We are still celebrating Sunday's baptisms and those who have experienced new life in Christ!

Today we remember and honor those who have served — and still serve — to create, protect, and preserve our liberty.

Your words reveal the condition of your heart! Jesus said we're known by our fruit - and that includes what comes out of our mouths. What is your speech revealing about your faith journey?

Sometimes the kindness of God shows up in unexpected places.

We had such a great time celebrating with everyone at Friends & Family Day! Thanks to everyone to attended and HUGE THANKS to all the amazing volunteers who made it happen!

Where is your faith not working itself out in obedience? This question challenges us to examine the gap between what we believe and how we live. If we needed saving from ourselves, why would we continue trusting ourselves after receiving God's grace?

According to James, faith alone does indeed save, but faith that saves is never alone. Faith works.

We had a great time SERVING THE CITY at the Central Elementary Fall Carnival on Friday and Haunt Old Town on Saturday. Thanks to all the amazing people who served!

God's love is not an abstract theory, but a transforming force. The work of God IN us always becomes the work of God THROUGH us.

When God says 'stop sinning,' it's not for His benefit—it's because sin destroys us. God's boundaries aren't meant to steal our joy but to protect us from harm. Our rebellion often stems from not trusting His goodness.

The true nature of sin isn't just about our actions—it's about what's on the throne of our hearts. When we follow Christ, we choose to put Him in charge instead of ourselves. Are you a Christian? It's not about a prayer you prayed—it's about who's ruling your life.

The pain and pressure of life can easily bring us to the end of ourselves. But it is in those places that God is at work; stretching us, changing us, and refining us. Our trials today are preparing us to help others tomorrow.

God is at work in our trials and struggles to refine us - making us stronger and healthier - not only for ourselves but for the sake of others as well.

Pain today, strength tomorrow. Just like that post-workout soreness means you're getting stronger physically, our spiritual trials are building something beautiful in us. When life hurts, remember God is producing something that will make you healthier, stronger, and more like Him. The struggle is real, but so is the purpose behind it.

We are still celebrating the GREAT THINGS God did yesterday at City Church. Missions and baptisms make for a perfect pairing!

When storms come, will you run like a cow or charge like a buffalo? While the world tells us to avoid trials, biblical wisdom says count them as pure joy! The difference is in how we choose to respond.

When trials come, do we see them as setbacks or opportunities for growth? Our perspective on difficulties can transform them from painful experiences into pathways to spiritual maturity. James teaches us not to be happy about trials, but to recognize their purpose in our spiritual development.

We often create an artificial divide between the “secular” and the “sacred” parts of our lives. But if our whole life belongs to God, then every act of service—no matter how ordinary—is ultimately an act of worship unto Him.

We don’t serve others to try to earn God’s favor or to pay Him back for all He has done. We serve because God works through our service—both to bless others and to shape us into the likeness of Jesus, the One who “came not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

All of life, thus all our service, is sacred.

God gives us good gifts, but are we more attached to the gifts than the Giver? When we understand that every blessing comes from our Father, we'll steward them with generosity instead of claiming ownership. Are you using what God has given you to bless others?

Generosity isn't about giving from a place of abundance but rather a place of priority. Jesus isn't after our wallet. He is after our heart.

Love is the true measure of our discipleship. Jesus taught that our spiritual depth is revealed in how we love each other. When we cultivate genuine community as the church, the world notices and is drawn to Christ. How are you loving others today?

God has never been interested in religious rules. He has always been passionate about people knowing and experiencing Him in the fullness of His love and grace.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you...James 4:8

Jesus promised us in John 10:10 that He came so that we might have life, and have it to the full. And the incredible news is that this life isn’t locked away for a few spiritual elites—it’s available to each of us through the Spirit, as we participate in the Body of Christ.

Deep commitment to the church comes from a deep commitment to Jesus - the one who is building His church. Deep commitment to Jesus comes from remembering what Jesus has done for us.

The reality is we are all busy. Many of us have a complicated relationship with church. Skepticism of churches and religious institutions is on the rise. So, we need to wrestle again with the question of "Why Church?"

Could it be that Jesus wants more for than what we are currently experiencing in our faith journey? The promise of Jesus is life and life more abundantly. That's not a pie in the sky promise of a problem free life, but a depth of joy and satisfaction, even in the midst of life's challenges and difficulties.
